I have created content and managed social media pages for ten years. I’ve heard people say “I don’t know how you all waste your lives on social media.” This person wasn’t trying to be rude, but they missed an important point.
Any media, project or task is meaningless without intention, thought and conviction. Social media writing and content creation is an opportunity to make something worthwhile.
The best part of these experiences has been interviewing friends and coworkers. I learned quickly that sometimes all it takes to get a good story is asking a simple question.

BLOG WRITING
One of my duties as Social Media Coordinator at the Division of Plant Industry was to develop and maintain the WordPress blog. I enjoyed developing a content plan, researching and writing stories as well as editing the work of contributing writers. The examples of my work below show a multimedia approach to communication and traditional written material.
